Luciana is a song. Even though her voice is fading and her memory slipping, she keeps singing. Her goal is to keep on living as her true self and not like just another old person in a nursing home. Her identity was built on a stage, where applause and praises made her happy. Today, blind and with limited mobility, Luciana relives that emotion by holding onto those old songs and, when memory fails, her dear friend Carmelita aids her and finishes those forgotten verses. This is how Luciana secures her existence, in a verse, in a chorus, in a musical note. To stop singing will certainly be her end.
